GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE (GTC)
Canyoning services – Ardèche Canyon Aventure

1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between the sole proprietorship DE JONG, Duniyan, located at 5 rue du Temple, 07140 LES VANS, operating under the name Ardèche Canyon Aventure, registered under SIRET number 850 704 248 00028, and any individual or legal entity (hereinafter referred to as the “Client”) wishing to book a canyoning activity offered by the provider.
Participation in any activity implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.
2. Booking and Registration
Any booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit of the total amount of the service, or full payment if required.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than the day of the activity, before departure.
3. Participation Conditions
The Client must be in good physical condition and have no medical contraindications to canyoning.
It is mandatory to be able to swim and to submerge oneself without difficulty.
The Client must follow all safety instructions given by the instructor.
Minors must be accompanied or provide parental authorization where applicable.
The provider reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who does not meet these conditions, without refund.
4. Prices and Payment
Prices are indicated in euros (€), all taxes included (TTC).
The price includes:
- supervision by a state-certified instructor,
- provision of safety equipment compliant with regulations,
- the provider’s professional liability insurance.
Accepted payment methods: credit card, cheque, bank transfer, cash (depending on available options).
5. Cancellation and Postponement
By the Client:
- Cancellation up to 3 days before the activity: deposit refunded
- Cancellation between 48 hours and 1 day before: 50% of the total amount retained
- Cancellation less than 48 hours before: no refund
By the Provider:
If the activity is cancelled for safety reasons (weather, flooding, force majeure, or participants’ ability) or due to insufficient participants, the Client will be fully refunded.
If the activity is interrupted during the session for safety reasons, no refund will be issued.
The instructor/guide is the ONLY person authorized to cancel an activity.
Meeting times and delays:
A meeting time is always communicated for each activity. For the smooth running of the session and out of respect for other participants, a maximum delay of 15 minutes will be tolerated.
Example: for a meeting at 9:00 AM, the activity will start without further notice at 9:15 AM.
6. Liability
Canyoning takes place in a natural environment and involves inherent risks. The Client acknowledges being aware of these risks and accepts them knowingly.
The provider declines all responsibility in case of loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
7. Insurance
Ardèche Canyon Aventure holds professional liability insurance with MAIF covering its activities. However, Clients are strongly advised to take out personal insurance (liability and personal accident insurance) covering potential accidents and damages.
8. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services provided on a specific date (such as canyoning).
9. Personal Data
Data collected during booking is necessary for managing the service and will not be shared with third parties, except where required by law.
10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These GTC are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, only the courts within the provider’s registered office jurisdiction shall have authority.
